The object
A structured tote — open, unfussy, strong enough for a working day. The weave holds its shape. The handles sit comfortably in the hand. A 13–14 inch laptop in a slim sleeve sits flat on the base, with room beside it for a notebook, a bottle, and what the day requires.
Material: handwoven Lake Victoria plant fibre (water hyacinth), with stitched leather-style handle tabs. Open top. Structured weave — unlined, so the craft remains visible.
